Client: Food Restaurant, Worthing - 2005

Interior and Exterior Lighting Design scheme

Brief: One of West Sussex’s first fine dining restaurants whose owner was very specific about his vision for the space ‘to create a sophisticated, high-end dining experience’.

Concept: The architectural design of the interior created many different spaces, so each area was lit to create different atmospheres catering for differing dining experiences. From soft ambient levels of light for intimacy through to bright, energising diffuse lighting for group dining, the scene setting system transformed each individual space whilst also allowing the lighting throughout the restaurant to work harmoniously

Due to the concealed location of the restaurant, it was imperative to draw attention to the building with maximum impact with the exterior lighting. By using striking external luminaries to light the structure the location is made quite evident to customers and passers by.
