Project: Victorian Mansion House, Hove - 2006

Interior and Exterior Lighting Design scheme

Brief: This traditional Victorian Mansion had been lovingly restored retaining all its original features, but the interior design was clean and modern. The client required an interior and exterior lighting design scheme to reflect this.

Concept: To create the perfect fusion between contemporary and traditional, Eleni used traditional chandeliers carefully interspersed throughout the space, along with other lighting design classics to work in harmony alongside some of the most modern luminaries to the market.

One of the most important areas the clients wanted Eleni to focus on was the garden. They wanted the garden to be an extension to their home an area they could enjoy after dark. Exterior lighting design was key factor in transforming this space.

To draw focus to the water feature and back wall, Eleni used low voltage halogen exterior lighting to enhance the warmth of the cedar wood and the vibrant colour of the plants and flowers creating a stunning effect as dusk falls.
