Working Methods

Stage 1 – Initial Meeting

• Site visit and survey (free within 3 miles of Brighton & Hove)
• Interpretation of brief, client vision and requirements

Stage 2 – Concept Design

• Preliminary conceptual design
• Recommended lighting equipment and fittings
• Stage 2 meeting - walk through on site with client and electrician

Stage 3 – Detail Design

• Finalisation of concept
• Budget and cost control
• First working drawing package for first fix purposes)
• Stage 3 meeting* – walk through on site with client and electrician

Stage 4 – Full Specification and Implementation

• Finalisation of lighting layouts
• Finalisation of lighting equipment (to provide accurate costs)
• Final working drawing package
• Project management of the implementation of the final lighting design scheme
• Final commissioning (focusing of the light fittings and programming of the control system)
• Stage 4 meetings*

* Please note Stages 3 & 4 will require more than one meeting
